Rear tire width
What is the widest tire I can fit in the back without having to manipulate the frame or bed?

Re: Rear tire width
I'm running a 285/50/20 on a 10" wheel on the back of mine. I honestly dont think I could go any wider.

Re: Rear tire width
The biggest problem with really wide tires is they like to hydroplane on wet roads.
I'm running 31-10.5-15 and that's as wide as I want to go.

Re: Rear tire width
a 295 is 11.6 wide, I've heard of a 315 fitting but I don't know the wheel back space, only that it was 10 wide.
Btw, im assuming this is a lower 2wd. |

325-50 on a 10" wheel with the right back space.

Re: Rear tire width
Here is the clearance on a 295/50/15 on a 15x10in wheel with 5in back space, 5in flip kit drop.

Re: Rear tire width
My truck is not lowered but I have 315/75R17 size tires on mine. it has rubbed, but only slightly, when the leaf spring is compressed on one side(like if i drove over a log with one tire).
315 mm = 12.4 inches

Re: Rear tire width
The 295x50x15 on a 15x10 and a 235x60x15 on a 15x8 or 8.5 looks very nice on a 3/4 drop IMO.
