fuel economy question
Will changing my exhaust from the Purple Hornies with the 3" turndowns under the cab to a system with an x-pipe and aerochambers that is 2 1/2" exiting in front of the rear wheels help my fuel economy any on my 305?

Theoritically, yes it can if you can keep your foot outta the throttle with the extra power you may see. Anything that can even out and smooth exhaust pulses will generally help your mpg a bit.

What kind of mileage are you getting now? I'm getting about 15.5 MPG with my set up and that's not getting on it too much.
