what about a four link w solid axle and 4th coil overs

I am in planning on a family ride 72 4x4 suburban. I want all the comforts and to run a 32" tire. I can't have a HUGE lift. It will have a modern (maybe newest direct injected lt1) with some boost too.

I have thought about different ways to get a nice ride on the rig but don't think 52" springs will work with the ride height I want.

So how about building a custom/semi custom 4 link setup with a coil over setup. Then I can change spring rates and ride height easily. Being in Utah many jeepers build similar setups and so finding expertise on build details might not be to hard.

Anybody know of a setup somebody has built? Links?

Check out the build link in my signature. It's a long thread but there is a point where I cover the front suspension. It is a parallel for link with panhard using air bags. Might give you some reference

well well. Those are two things that I was thinking about.

Ryanroo- I travel the west and get down to Durango and south west Colorado on a regular basis as I work with mines. I would like to stop by and see ya some time if possible. Hit me a pm. AWESOME BUILD!!! I have a Longhorn as well.

I really do like the ORD design just by looks. I wonder if I can get it setup on a stock +2" setup. When I am ready I guess I will hit them up and see if that will work with such a low lift range.
