No real secret. Just a good cleaning and start with 220, then 400, 600, 1000 and 1500. After that, plastic scratch polish. To get the white lettering, clean out the grooves and paint it white, don't worry about staying in the lines, cause the abrasives will remove any overspray. Once all scratches are gone and it is perfectly smooth. Degrease and shoot with some 2k clear. To make the sanding easy, I chucked them up in my drill press.
