my 67 drives great now !

A few years ago I put power steering on my 67 and got a new rebuilt gear box from advance auto parts ? It never did drive right ? It had slack and nomater what you did it was there ? Sometimes you did not notice it and sometimes you did ? This was one of the 2 things I did not like about my truck so I ordered another gear from CPP it was not cheap but I put it on my truck this weekend and it is AWESOME ! With the sway bars the drop and now a good tight steering gear my truck will go around a curve like a sports car LOL I'm super happy with it !

Hey 19673ontree are you still running 6 lug wheels? If so where did you get the rears? btw cool truck

Good to know! I put a quick ratio cpp box on my truck but will be a year before its driven

The rear wheels are a set of stock 6 lug wheels that have been widened to 9" I got them from a friend of mine I dont know who widened them the weld looks pro so id say some shop did it , I searched on here and the 8" wide factory ones come up for sale you just have to watch and wait , and yes 6 lug all around on my truck and thanks

The wide rear rims really make these trucks look right !
