Has anyone modified the 22" steel GM transport wheels to fit the old school center hub caps or baby moons. If so how did you attach them.Name: image.jpg

Never done this before...anyway you can show pic of tool you made and does the clips come with bolts? Drill size and did you tap it?

I'll have to look for your build thread unless you could post a link. I'd love to see a pic when the beds on and all. Looks real good from what I could see. Nice work!

You could sell that tool for installing the clips. That looks like it makes easy work on where to attach them to the wheel. I like the paint color as well.

I'm not aware of any 8-lug smooth steel transports for our trucks. Can always get ya a set of the 6-lugs and modify, come up with an adaptor set up Stranny64

I've still got some sets of the 22 GM Transports in the classified section of this forum. Also have the ability to provide clips, caps.

I’ll put the bed on this weekend.. once the rain quits

Neveno,

any confirmation what correct spacer size needed for back wheels? you are a lot further than I am on my transit wheels, take the guessing out of the equation....does it need longer wheel studs after?

The tool is used to locate were holes need to be drilled. You take any cap, place clips inside the cap and measure were need to be placed evenly. The tool is just used to replicate the measurement over and over....

Is that a reproduction hub cap? If so where did you get them?
