transfercase problems
Does anyone know what the gear markings are on the transfer case of a 69 4X4. ie...what gear is towards the dash, and what gear is down by the seat? Thanks alot.

What t-case do you have? In '69 they had both the Dana20 and the NP205. If you have a three-on-the-tree or four speed, it might be the dana 20.

t-case
I just swaped out my 3-on the tree and Dana 20 for a 4-speed and a 205 and both are like this.
Dash 4-lo N 2-Hi 4-Hi seat. Hope this helps. |

My 69, with original T221 t-case is
Dash 2Hi 4 Hi Nuetral 4 Lo Seat

looks like I have the t221 case....2h is twards the dash...is that a good case?

Very strong, gear driven, low rear output, same gear ratio as NP205, kind of hard to get certain parts though.
