65 C10 Factory in Cluster Incline/Angle Gauge?
Hey all, was this a factory gauge option in 1965?
Sorry, the second pic should be upright. For some reason when I uploaded it went to landscape orientation. Thanks, Ken |

Re: 65 C10 Factory in Cluster Incline/Angle Gauge?
Anybody know if this was a factory option? Or maybe a dealer installed option?
It fits to well to have been an aftermarket part. |

Not an option that I've ever seen in any 60-66 truck. More than likely PO installed.

Left access on the cluster was for vacuum or air pressure gauge

Looks like a horizon level indicator for a plane but with the curve in the faceplate looks factory. I have an accessory manual I can look into and give some feedback.

The truck belongs to a friend. He asked me about it and I said that I knew where to ask and get the correct answers.
Thanks to all who responded. |

I believe that might be from a Mitsubishi Montero as they were available as an option. Someone retrofitted this into that gauge cluster.

Mitsu parts in a classic C10? This will be Heresy if it's really the source.

Now that you mention it the Font and Color look more "modern" than the old instruments.

Re: 65 C10 Factory in Cluster Incline/Angle Gauge?
It appears to be a Altitude tilt bank turn roll pitch indicator, although I have no idea what brand or vintage. Further identification will probably require access to the back of the instrument. There are a couple of cheap examples on Ebay right now, and dozens more on Google Images:
