My of Task Force V-8 emblem’s
In the last year and half I've been collecting all the Task Force V-8 hood emblem’s. Now that I’ve collected them all, I made a case for them to hang on my garage wall. The case is at the powder coaters and I'm getting a glass cut for it. Question to you guys should I paint them or leave them original?

x2, leave them original for a year, if you still want to paint them go ahead. Is there a difference between the 56 and 57 piece? Great idea BTW.

Re: My of Task Force V-8 emblem’s
The difference between the 56 and 57 is the color. On the 56 the back ground is black and the bowtie is red. On the 1957 the back ground red and the bowtie is black

Nice. I've never thought of that for a display.

Regardless, it's cool to be able to display both combinations. I like paint n polish for the display. Last edited by 1project2many; 07-17-2014 at 06:52 AM. |

Re: My of Task Force V-8 emblem’s
To be honest I never thought of it. I might look for some and place them in there to see if it looks any good.

59 one is junk, send it to me for recycling! Nice idea, I have all kinds of stuff hanging in my shop, nothing framed, most as I found it.

Re: My of Task Force V-8 emblem’s
What is the difference between the 55 1st and 55 2nd emblems? I have thought about getting one for my 2nd series truck, but cannot see the difference, especially the ones listed on ebay. Most of the pictures they show look about the same. Your emblem collection is a great idea, and looks good as is.
