Re: Anyone running the billet specialties "MAG" wheel
Yea and I love the torque thrust 2's but the mag is a flat rolled lip vs
The torque thrust has two lips then the spokes so I Actually like flat rolled lip better so that's why I decided to go With the billet specialties |

Re: Anyone running the billet specialties "MAG" wheel
These were a toss up between mags and vintecs when I bought mine. One thing to consider is mags are a cast wheel which is where the affordability comes from. At the same time they seem to polish up real nice. I have a lot of billet specialty products on my truck and they continue to amaze me. One of those great all American hot rod companies. Here's a gorgeous 67 with them

Re: Anyone running the billet specialties "MAG" wheel
Man thanks I thought that was them. I actually have that truck saved on my phone but couldn't figure out if they were the mag or a cragar wheel
Can't remember the name but they looked similar also. The mag must Be a new wheel I couldn't find anything but a couple cars with them but now this helps a lot knowing that's them. Thanks Scott I appreciate it man! Chris |

Re: Anyone running the billet specialties "MAG" wheel
I've had too many chrome wheels that have turned junk so now I only run polished wheels on anything. As a driver the upkeep will be fairly high. Keep them clean, I just use soap and water and occasionally hand rub them with mothers and a cotton shirt (DO NOT use microfiber) usually once a year I have my wheels polished by a guy that acid washes them and hits them with compound on a high speed buffer. Big thing is avoid the de icer it destroys aluminum wheels. If your truck is a nice weather driver then the up keep will be very minimal. I've seen 20 year old aluminum wheels polish up and look better then new. Once a chrome wheel peels its as good as scrap. Also billet specialties ships there wheels with a mirror like polish.
