Brake warning lamp problem

Trying to get my brake warning light to work correctly. It has never been hooked up, and the PO for whatever reason removed the wiring. There is no wire to attach to the prop. valve, so I don't know where to run the wire from it. I don't think the ignition switch is wired correctly, but I'm not sure how to do it right.

I've been looking at wiring diagrams, but I don't understand where to wire on the switch. I was thinking I could run a new line from the prop. valve to the dash or ignition switch, but I'm not sure how. I'm thinking that the ignition switch is wired incorrectly.

Pics would be very helpful, if possible with the relevant wires pointed out.

Re: Brake warning lamp problem

Also, the temp guage has never worked as well. There is a wire running to the sensor on the block, but it has never worked. Probably related.

Also, the warning light comes on if I turn the key to the far right, past the run position. But when I turn to run, nothing.

Thumbs up Re: Brake warning lamp problem

The brake warning light only comes on for a second while cranking it to let you know the light is working. That's how it's suppose to work. It want come on unless there is a problem in the system other wise.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Brake warning lamp problem

Figured it out, the wiring was all screwed up at the ignition switch
