Opening the hood!
When I pull the lever on my 69, the hood does not pop up enough to even get my fingers to open, I have to use a tool to get it open enough to open it all the way. I noticed there was no spring on the hood part of the latch like my Camaro. What builds the tension to get it to pop open. I have tried to adjust the hood latch to no avail.

Re: Opening the hood!
The springs on the hood hinges build the tension.
