Hercules 250?
I'm looking at a truck currently for sale, 1977 C10 250 I6, 3 speed. The valve cover says "Hercules 250". What is this? Anybody have any info?

It's a decal I'm guessing.
77 should have an integral head 250, probably 1 barrel electric choke Monojet. Intake is part of the head,.

It's probably a tank decal for an old Hercules 250 dirt bike that someone put on the valve cover.

The google brought up nothing, but I did find this:
 Look at the fan thing on the front of that motor! I think it's a rotary engine of some sort. Ed. Duh, it says wankel right on the side, Ps. Sorry for the hijack |

That was probably a replacement engine at some point. I service a few fork lifts at work that run gm 4 cylinders and one of them has a Hercules 2.5 sticker on the valve cover.
