Fuel tank help

OK-everything I have done this weekend has broken or.....
I have a 72 402 and removed the gas tank. I bought a 72 eec tank from spectra and it has no vent tubes on it at all. The tank I removed had a vent tube by the filler tube and one at the top at the opposite end. Did I get the wrong tank? also, both (new and old) fuel sending lock rings are bent so can you just get a ring itself, and if so from where. thanks
