Question ? on interior

I am purchasing carpet and all my interior pieces this week and I was wondering who I should order from? What do you guys suggest I put under neath the carpet for insulation and sound deadner? I do not know what to do about my headliner though. Should I replace with a factory one or does it look better to have an upholstery shop make one? As for the seats Im going with black 01 chevy silverado bucket seats. Thanks ~Jon

JC whitney is usually good when it comes to the carpet, headliner, you can usually get a local apoulstry shop to do it cheap...

This was only around 70 bucks by a local guy here, I just had to do the design for it.

I'm a huge fan of ACC carpets. I've installed four or five in trucks like ours and a few more in a variety of cars. I've never had a problem or a complaint. The styling, colors and fit are second to none and the prices are pretty good too, especially if you put something else in and don't like it and have to do it twice.

I got some interior pieces recently from Chevy Duty. They seem fine, no problems with them to speak of. I am sure that all the parts suppliers are pretty similar, both on price and quality. I say just pick one and go with them. Be prepared to paint them though. I bough the four pillar pieces and two were blue and the other two were black. No big deal. I used "SEM Interior Plastic and Vinyl Paint" avaliable through Eastwood Co.

I bought my floor carpet and door carpet from JCW, I got Nifty brand. The initial fitment seems a little rough, but I have seem some finshed jobs and it comes out pretty nicely.

On the headliner, I went to a local upholstry shop and he got one for me from a vendor that matched the interior color really good. They had several non OEM colors to choose from. It is ABS plastic backed and seems to be of really good quality. It came ready to install.

I have used http://www.accmats.com like ElGracho
has on the last 4 trucks. Excellent quality. They come with a backing also. If you want to put something under them, how about dynamat?
