HO52 Pinion retainer gasket

Changing out my pinion seal which I already have but for the life of me cannot find the seal for the 5 bolt retainer plate. Ive read that most use RTV but I would like to use the gasket if there is one available. The official part number is 3843067 but I cannot find an crossover number.

Anyone have a source?

Thanks

I don't think there made anymore. From what I understand these Easton's are like dinosaurs. You can get some gasket paper and make one yourself.

RTV is about your only option...I've got my H052 ripped apart (destroyed spiders and carrier) and I'm just replacing it with a 14 bolt because you can't get parts for these things!

Re: HO52 Pinion retainer gasket

That particular gasket is the only maintenance part I cannot find for it (other than a new r&p). Yes they are a bit more expensive than a 14BFF but since the only problem with it is the pinion seal I cannot see swapping out the axle just for that.

All the following parts were available at AutoZone, Oreilys, and Napa

Hub Bearings

Inner KD11786y
Outer KB111630z
Seal 2081
Axle flange seal 55350

Permatex Gear Oil RTV 81182

Center Section

Pinion Seal 411330n
Repair Sleeve 99259
Retainer Seal 3843067 (NLA)
3rd member to housing seal RDS5090
Cover to housing seal RDS5088

Brakes

Wheel cylinder Left BHH WC49680
Wheel cylinder Right BHH WC49681
Wheel cylinder repair kit BHH WCK13620
Shoes BB248
Rear Hose BH 36684
Drum BBR 2079DGS

Randys sells a Yukon gear overhaul kit for just under $500 which is a bit steep and I dont think I would spend that much to rebuild it and only at that point would I consider swapping it out.

Just wondering how you killed your Eaton?
