Front buckets w/console in rear of 73-87 crewcab?

Probably been done....searched on here for pics or info for hours. Nothing.
So, my question is: Will factory front 73-87 buckets mount in the rear of a 73-87 crewcab?
Anyone have pics of this done? Mounting or bracket tips? Suggestions?
I'm swapping in a set from a suburban up front and I have a line on a 2nd set. They're an exact match with console. This HAS to have been done before...no?
Thanks for any info or help!

I could swear I ran across a pic of a crew with 4 blue cloth buckets and 2 consoles on here somewhere...

I can't answer your question if its been done before but I don't see why it couldn't be done. Just buy the set and try it. Anything can be modified to fit.......usually.......

Only ones I've seen it in is those custom conversion trucks with the extended cabs done on them. The seats are not factory nor is the big console that goes front to back.

I'm sure what you're talking about has been done a few dozen times. Four doors, four seats. Perfect sense.

I do not see why it wouldn't work. Back seats are the same as a standard cab truck. If they are Suburban seats, you'll have to modify the rear of the slides as many have done when putting them into a standard cab. As far as the console, I don't see a problem there either.

I would think the outer brackets would bolt up just like the bench seat in the back, then maybe you might be able to just find another set of rear brackets for the inner rails. I'm getting ready to do the carpet, doors and headliner in my crew so I might put the rear brackets on my buckets and see if it will work. Be next week before I'll get a chance too.

Re: Front buckets w/console in rear of 73-87 crewcab?

Thanks for the info guys! I'm gonna put the four factory front burb buckets and pair of consoles I dug up in the 'ol '79 crewcab. I like the "should'a been built this way" look. Factory period correct parts that fit and look better than what was available seems like a no brainer.

i would think factory bucket brackets from a regular cab would fit the rears in a crew due to the fuel tank hump.
