I would sell it and buy a 2wd truck,The 4x4 is worth more you can sell it buy a 2wd and have cash left.To do the swap you need the whole from front suspension from spindles to steering box.The rear im not sure on might just be the springs other things will be changing out the trans and new rear driveshaft.

KQQL IT actually hit the nail on the head as to what I wanna do. Im going to be building a blazer roadster and 2wd blazers are rare here and can pick up a 4x4 for fairly cheap. Im also in the middle of swappin my longbed to a shorty, unfortunatly the longbed frame is badly damaged so I cant use the front clip. Otherwise id just go get some steel and build a frame.

Yup! For the rear, you'll need 2wd spring hangers as well. The 4x4 ones are taller.

There are other options that require less work. The 2wd hangers can set the rear lower than the front depending on which springs you use.

Re: Converting 4x4 to 2wd, what needs to be done?
I swapped my 4x4 k5 to 2wd as well. Flip kit in rear with 4x4 mounts still
You need to cut the rear bump stops out unbolt the front suspension and the cut every rivet there is up front pretty much. Measure off of the 2wd doner or another truck and place the crossmember in that position drill the holes and bolt it up then do the same with the front crossmember. Then measure and drill for the suspension linkage and swap the steering box to a 2wd version. That's about it in a nutshell. It's time consuming but not so difficult unless you haven't got the right tools. I borrowed a plasma cutter and gouged the rivets off. Easily the fastest way to do this.
