This was outside the wrecking yard very nice but needed some work. Oregon has nice ass truck's in the yard .... Pont you should have tagged along lot's of 67-68 truck part's.

Hey Luke,
You forgot to tell everyone about the score you made on the top and the hood for the Blazer! Tom, Too many wasp's to blow into that thing. It looked like something that would go to some sort of home made vent in the suburban. We had a great time in 3 wrecking yards. There are ALOT of pre 67 trucks there. I almost cried when I saw a 72 Custom 20 that was on the bottom of the "just crushed pile". It was a truck that we walked through several acres looking for. Ive scored several parts off that truck and can't beleive that some stupid minimum wager crushed a classic! They dodnt even take the emblems off! Longhorn? Are you out there? That blue Longhorn was a prize. We almost bought ot but some guy that was behind the counter said it belonged to his "dope smoke'n ole man". I think we could have made a steal on it. Oh well, it was a great day swamp'n at the salvage yards! |

I stopped at one yard this weekend. Saw 3 67's and one 72. All we pretty stripped. It was a half off weekend and there were a lot of people there, so I just walked to see what was there. Its not really all that fair cuz there is a 67-72 truck guy that lives across from the pick in pull in stockton. I think he takes all the cool parts.

Sad thing is, in the pic, it looks more solid than mine. Please tell me I am wrong.

Nope that long horn was solid and you could get it for 850 would be my guess... It was not there to be parted out from what the guy behind the counter said...
