The strange old things you find in your new truck

Cleaned out my new truck this morning and found this "Oliver 2-piece Collar Holder" under the seat. Post pics here of the strange old things you found in your truck!

I don't have any photos, but among other things, I found a cowboy had, one glove, a spotlight and about $10 in quarters, dimes and nickels. I filled a 55-gallon trash can half-way with all the crap I pulled from under the seat.

I know it's a typo but which one? Should the D at the end be a T or should there be an N before the D? Because if you found a cowboy hand beneath the seat, that would make quite a story! And if so, was it in the glove?

I'm not sure I could figure that out.

Those directions look pretty complicated.

Re: The strange old things you find in your new truck

I found quite a few things under the seat:

small engine spark plug new in package
3 new chains for a Stihl chainsaw and 1 used
4 way tire iron
baseball cap
2 pearl-snap shirts
Spoon, fork, and knife
Butcher blade
Babies passifier
Various change
and I can't forget a 1990's edition of "Jugs" porno magazine!

I wonder if that's a Texas thing? I found a Sears brand red-orange western shirt with pearl snaps under the seat of mine when I got my truck a couple years ago. It's currently hanging in my closet (I need to lose about 60 lbs so I can wear it. People were skinny back then).

I used to buy those new at the PX when I was in the Marines --mid-'70s.
They held down the collar tabs on the Trop shirt when worn with the 'Field Scarf' [= necktie]. I had duty with S-3 as the squadron Training NCO. I was just a Corporal, but I was ''drunk wit' power''. Good times.
