Warn winch on a 1970 4x4?

I'm looking at a 1970 Chevy K-20 truck for sale near me and it has a Warn 8274 winch along with the Warn bumper. Can anyone tell me if this could have been a factory option or was it a dealer installed option?

Not a factory thing I'm sure, but dealer or aftermarket yes. I'd web search on chevy pickup dealer options and see what comes up.

x2,not factory. I have seen Ramsey Winches listed in the 47-72 GM parts book.

Looks like you could get them up to 72.

I recently read a thread that listed a SPID with front bumper delete, I guess the dealer took it from there?

FWIW, the p.o. of my '71 GMC told me that he purchased it from original owner who had said the winch was dealer-installed. It's a Belleview with in-cab cable controls, the predecessor to the Warn. Here's a pic.

Thanks for the pic, that looks like the bumper but the winch does look different. I'm thinking about getting this truck and will get some pics when I go back Sunday.

Yeah, this winch is different than the Warn 8274. The Warn is an improved version of the old Belleview.
