New Here and could use some help
Just found ya'll and figure I'll start out by asking for some help.
My new toy has a "Carter AFB Competition Series" carb on it. Never messed with carters and know NOTHING about them. Good/Bad? It's running rich and not sure how to do any adjusting on it. Any help is appreciated. As soon as $$ are avaliable it will probably get turned into a Holley but until then I have to live with it. Thanks |

I replaced my Holley with a Carter Carb and was very satisfied. I had to do a rebuild because it was sitting up for a little while, but after that it ran good. It was easier to tune then the Holley, that's for sure! If it's running rich, you may need to do some adjusting. You can find the adjustment procedures on Edelbrock's website.
