frame painting question
Im about to take off my bed. I want to just sand blast it at my dads work, but the rust has pitted the frame a good amount. should i just grind it(id rather not) or can i sand blast it then bondo over to smooth it out then put the outer layer of por 15 on.

I used one of those stripper discs on my drill then a grinder then lastly I did the wire wheel then I primered with rusty metal primer and two top coats of rustoleum gloss black

sand blast is about the only way to get in the pits.

If the pits bother you that bad after sandblasting and epoxy coating you can sling some mud on there. Don't use gloss black as your top coat though. Rustoleum Semi Gloss looks factory for the frame, undercarriage, and engine bay/firewall and is very durable. Whenever I'm at a car show and I look under the hood to a glossy engine bay it makes me wanna cringe.
