Re: WTB 1967 Soft Ray tinted vent glass...

Dan, It does say soft-ray and I can tell it is original glass if that means anything to you, but they should clean up I'm guessing but I'm not a glass expert either.I do know the safety flolite-lof and tempured etc markings on the glass are faded a bit but you can still make out the etching/wording.It defiantly says SOFT-RAY on the top of where it is marked at kinda by where the vent handle would be on the frame for the 67...I sent you my paypal info, if you do buy these I'll them them packaged up and ship them UPS with tracking info provided.PM Sent.

Re: WTB 1967 Soft Ray tinted vent glass...

I also have a very very nice set of 67 vent windows I will be selling shortly because of me buying a complete set of 67 doors that already had soft-ray glass and all the bells and whistles. These are almost not even worth having re-chromed because they are just that nice and I say that because I hadn't even polished the chrome yet lol.But I feel I may have a time selling them for what I have in them but none the less I'll post up pictures shortly...

Re: WTB 1967 Soft Ray tinted vent glass...

Dan, I'll get your vent glass shipped to you on Monday with UPS Tracking please pm me your address so I can get the label printed thanks, Kev.

Big Orange, I have clear 67 lof orginial glass but I removed the left sash so I could replace the glass setting tape.I normally scrap the old stuff out with a screw driver, blast the sash and replace the setting tape because most the time it's so dry rotted it's not worth saving. But yes I do have a left and right clear 67 side glass with the sashes the right side has the sash still connected to the glass, I can remove the sashes old dry rotted setting tape and blast the sashes in my bead blaster so you can order the glass setting tape and re-install it, if this is something that interest you I may be able to help, let me know. It's good to use varsol when setting the glass and allowing the varsol a few days to flash off before installing and using the glass in the channel, Iv'e heard of people installing the glass and pulling it out of the channel because they bought the wrong setting tape or didn't give the varsol time to flash off...But onces the glass is set it's not coming out very easy lol...I also have 2, 67 only doors a right and left as well lol....This is what happens when your in a hurry or feel you will never find that one and only part lol...
