Transmission hump
I got a question about transmission humps. what type of trucks used the tall humps was it just manual transmission and 4x4s. where they ever used on a 2wd big block auto.
Thanks |

Re: Transmission hump
I believe the bolt-in high humps were 4x4 and big block only.

Re: Transmission hump
If your truck is missing the hump and the high hump is the only one that bolts in wouldn't that narrow the field? My 68 GMC is a high hump it was 396 T400 it also is/was a 3/4 ton. I prefer the high hump as for the look inside as compared to the low one that is one reason when my 70 3oot is changed to the T-5 I am doing it back with a high hump as well. Jim

Re: Transmission hump
Scored a '72 Custom 20 with a rotted cab (I think I can lift the roof section off by hand!), but a nice high hump section. This will go into the '70 C10 T5/TPI set-up rather nicely.
