White wall tire recommendations 16 inch

Any recommendations to order some 16 inch whitewalls for 49 AD?

Hurst ra ing but they have gone out of biz. Easy shipping foe me 2 hrs away. My second choice would be Diamond back or motospot whitewalls.

Stock size Bias white walls you are pretty well stuck with Coker, Universal or one of the other in the group that puts out those tires in 16 inch. Stock sizes being 6.00 x16 or 6.50 x 16 by the check I was doing on something else today.

I read an interesting tidbit today on the GM Heritage site in that no AD truck (at least 47/53 was shipped from the factory with whitewalls and if they were delivered to the customer with them they were dealer installed.

If you have a local full service tire store that you deal with and get a decent deal on your other tires from I'd check with them on the whitewalls for the truck especially if they are part of a big chain or franchise operation. You have to know what the prices are from the online vendors but it doesn't hurt to ask them what they can do.

we went to the Pomona swap meet and a friend bought some white wall add ons not sure what their called however you can install them on your current tires. he paid like 100 bucks for them I think. you can tell it close but a few steps away its hard to see their fake.
