Only way to tell if the factory put it there is the SPID. It is the correct one that would have been used by the factory or a dealer could have added it as well.

The spid is there. But when I open the gb, I about threw up. There's a family of dead mice in there. I opened it to let it air out. There's also a dead one in the overflow bottle also. STINKS!! I'm gonna give it some time and go check it out again

Re: factory radiator overflow tank?

That is the correct one. Only way it came from factory installed was if truck was a govt. truck, rest were dealer installed or owner installed. My 71 bb truck had dealer installed one and it is the same.
