Re: GM Tech Center Annual Employee Car Show

I'm not sure....

I checked my original registration for the show and it says "R10" so maybe one of the Powertrain guys changed it (not knowing what an "R10" was...).

That was a pretty nice day. Interesting how some different cars showed up this year. I loved wandering thru the 'orphan' lot and checking out the cool old Pontiacs.

Useless information file
My sister had one. Crashed it into a curb bent the control arms, found out a Fiero and Chevette share front suspension.

I can't believe this, but I don't think I've ever seen one of these. Did Pontiac build this or did somebody modify an El Camino? What's it called?

Not a production model (ever); the signage indicated it was a GM prototype.

Re: GM Tech Center Annual Employee Car Show

Haha... I had to look up what a Chevette was. We know it as Opel Kadett here in Europe, I always taught it was an all German invention, but it shares the platform (T) with US version, Chevette.
Cool, you learn something new everyday...
