64 Bagged and Blown 588 BBC C10 4130 Tube Chassis SEMA Drag Truck
We at Overkill Racing and Chassis built the chassis for a one of a kind C10 that will be unveiled at the 2014 SEMA show in Las Vegas. Here are a few pics as the progress rolled along! Any questions please don't hesitate to ask!!!
We just finished the chassis and meant to start a build thread earlier but we got so busy trying to meet our deadline we totally spaced it! The chassis was all designed in CAD first based off the measurements of the OEM frame specs. Its all 2" .090 wall 4130 Chromoly, mandrel bent and tig welded using a Miller Syncrowave 200 and er90s-b3 3/32 filler rod.

More. Making sure we have less than an 1/8" tig filler rod thickness on all notched joints.

Rear bag mounts. Also plumb the top tubes of the chassis as the air tanks holding about 6 gallons of air!!!

How much pressure will the top tube of the frame hold?
