55 chevy pickup door question

Hi, Guys
I'm starting on my door patch panels.I just got them back from the metal dipping place. My question is what should I coat the inside of the doors with to prevent them from rusting. I know about the standard epoxy primer,urethane primer,etching primer. I was thinking about bed liner, Or undercoating along with epoxy primmer.I wanted to get some thoughts on what direction to go.

POR15 supporter here too, just make sure you do not clog up the bottom drain holes, that is why the door bottoms rust up. GM has a few little slits that quickly clogged with dust and condensation off the windows. Make sure you prep per POR's instructions, I have noticed that while it dries hard as nails, if the surface is not preped it will flake off because of no adhesion to base metal. Get only the amount you can use right away, once the can is open it will harden up, I lost half a quart that way.

prep is a must , it has to be done or it will flake off , it bonds great to alittle surface rust ,

POR 15 = paint with crazy glue added. Strong stuff.

The instructions from por 15 will help and yes the bare metal needs to be sanded with abrasive sand paper as it bonds better to a rough surface thats why a little surface rust doesn't hurt as it does help it to bond better ,, a clean smooth surface will not let it bond properly and will come off(ask me how I know ) and if applied properly will last a very long time . Even if you used a spray on type liner the surface needs ruffed up for better bonding to the surface . Oh yea when applying por 15 use gloves or you will wear it on your hands for days as it will not wash off
