WTB: Complete rear axle assembly, 4x4, 3.73
Anyone within driving distance of Seattle have one? My '72 K5 rear diff blew up and took out the housing. I'd like to just swap in a replacement rear end. Need 3.73 gears but may consider something else to get by. THANKS!!!

73 to 80 will work if you don't mind moving spring mounts and shock mounts

Yea there are many options if I want to do spring perches and stuff. Giving this a shot first.

Jared,
If you do not find a bolt in. I have a 3:73 out of a 72 4x4 Blazer that had the spring perches moved for a 2WD conversion and 5 lug axles/drums installed. (the shock mounts are still in the original location) |

Here is a posi unit with 3:73 gears. You can have the whole rolling frame for $900.

Thanks Mark. Wouldn't that be ironic - still doing fab work to restore the perches.
John, this could work. I'll reply to your post.

Well, I know I am not close (only 1100 miles down I-90), but I have a leaf spring rear end out of a 69 4x4.
It is a TQ 11 06 W 2
