WTB Radiator

WTB original Harrison 3-4 row V8 Radiator for a 1964-66 C10 With an automatic Powerglide. It is hard to find but we are working on a friends ground up restoration and it needs to be correct so I thought I would see if there are any out there.

Re: WTB Radiator

I have the one from my '66 292/Powerglide C10, which is the same as the V8. It is a 49K mile, California truck and has never been recored. It has the original metal tag on it and is not bent up. It's a real peach. However, I took it to be cleaned and tested and they found pinholes and said it couldn't be fixed- too old and thin. Being 47 years old that did not surprise me. A copper recore was quoted as $350. For several reasons, I had an aluminum direct replacement unit custom made using the original as a model.

So I kept the original knowing that it is a perfect example of an unmolested original. At this point it is just sitting in the attic. Shipping will not be cheap and you will need to recore it, but it would make a nice one for a 100% correct restoration. Let me know if you're interested. I don't know what it's worth... $50 ? I would like to see it go to a good cause.

Can you send photos of it? It sounds like a very nice piece. I would definitely want it. Thanks
