Heater core ? LS swap
I live in Cali so there it's no real need for a heater . I did an ls swap and plan on putting an vintage air system in my truck . Can I get rid of the whole heater core box ? And all those hoses that are hooked up to it .

My he Vintage air system won't go in for about 4 months if that makes a difference

Yes, you can get rid of the heater core. it will be tossed as part of the VA install. Just be sure you loop your hose from your water pump back to the engine (the two hoses that connect to your core).

Can I just cap the two hoes from the motor or do they have to be looped back ?

If you cap it, the caps need to be able to hold the pressure of the system. Usually about 16 psi... it's dependent upon your radiator cap. Or you could install plugs into the holes where the hose fittings are. That would work better.
