Trying to figure out the wipers on my 83 C20.
Have hooked up both the original wiper switch, and an intermittent one from a later model, and the wiper speeds stay the same when they are running.
I have a slow speed, and the second speed is just a tad faster.
I remember the days when wipers were slow for light rain, and they went considerably faster for heavy rain.
Do I need to replace the wiper motor to have a faster high speed mode?

Sure sounds like a tired wiper motor. The high speed should be almost as fast as the low.
