Re: Help please! Need a pic
I've watched waiting for an answer here. I have one, although it's in the body shop in another town in Melba, Id. The guy is originally from Portland area with a mega custom shop and just wanted to give up the big city life. Customers send high dollar work to him from Portland, Cali area to Melba for him to do work on there cars. Can't wait to see mine done, body work and primer only for now.
Don't give up, wish I could get a photo for you to help out. But it's a week and a half out before I get it back. There is a hole for it if I remember looking from the front it is about 3 o'clock position off dist, I think.. Sorry not much help now but will glade to sent a pic when I get it back. Of course will be sending pic when all said and done....

Re: Help please! Need a pic
Here's a pic (borrowed, thanks Mel) of the tach hole, which IIRC is 3/4" diameter. Aux battery hole is drilled through the dimple just below this and is same diameter.
Edit: to clarify this is correct for 72, not sure for 68

Re: Help please! Need a pic
One pic I found of a 71 or 72 seemed to show the aux batt harness grommet close to the emergency brake cable grommet, but they changed from hand pulled emergency brake to foot pedal type in 1969, so I think they relocated the spot the cable enters the fire wall.
