I need parts! Please help me locate vendors

I have a 1979 GMC pickup C2500 that I am restoring from the inside out, so I need help Locating vendors to find parts for decent prices. Listed below are some of the things I'm looking for...

Left and right front fenders
Tailgate for stepside
Aluminum plate for a straight body tailgate
RED dashboard
Almost everything for interior
Bed floor (8 feet) for straight body
Front and back bumper
And many more

If anyone knows any place in Florida, where i can find cheap but good parts for my truck, your feedback would be highly appreciated.

Thank you,
Salman

LKQ has a yard in Melbourne. They have an aftermarket division called Keystone, where you can get fenders and body panels from. They sell two lines, an economy line and a high grade line. I prefer the fit of the high grade parts and the metal is thicker like the originals.

You're welcome. Just trying to help out a square body brother. Good luck with your build. Throw a few pictures up here every now and again so we can share in progress.

For cheap and quick, it sounds like "You Pull It Yards" are your best bet. Below are some web links for new parts that I've found.

Front Fenders, tailgate, bed floors - http://www.autometaldirect.com/body-...-23_72_73.html
These are quality replacements made from the same grade sheet metal and stamps that the original GM parts were made from.

You can also try LMC truck and Classic Parts. Classic parts deals only with Chevrolet and GMC vehicles and their customer service is excellent.

Re: I need parts! Please help me locate vendors

Search craigslist in Phoenix, Tucson, Albuquerque, etc., for good body old trucks and have it shipped to you in FL. Lots to choose from in the southwest. But, make sure these are real southwest trucks - many people drive trucks from the rust belt and eventually sell them out there. You need a lot of pics of the underside of the truck, especially the cab floor, cab corners, wheel wells, etc. $1,000 - $2,000 will get you a truck with a lot of good parts and a valid title.
Seat and door panels, headliner, dash, etc., will likely be shot on any old truck. I would look for good Chrysler Sebring convertible bucket seats with integral seat belts from your local junkyard.
