Custom Dash??
Has anyone customized their dash? I am thinking of filling the radio panel and ashtray to allow for an LCD screen. I am also pondering removing the dash pad and glassing in that area. Please post any pics you may have.

Someone on here posted a build a couple of years ago where they used a flip-up display they put where the ashtray had been. I can't remember who it was, though.

My buddy just put a 57 bel air dash in his 69 2wd blazer. He had to shrink it in the middle but it looks vrry sweet!
Theres alot of people on here that took out the pad and filled the holes

I did mine last year, I got the itch to shave the dash pad and went totally overboard..

Found these in the "Let's see your custom touches" thread.
Cliff67 doing a Belair adaptation that will be very cool when done and luckyss piffing the dash pad and shaving the remains for a very smooth look.
