5.5 bs wheels on drum setup?

Im wanting to put newer style wheels on my 70 c10. I want to keep the drums all the way around. Anyone ever done this? Im guessing I'd have to run 2" spacers? With the spacers would I still have the hub issue and would they rub the fender? Ive tried searching but can't find any specific info. Thanks for any help. And I know spacers are "not safe" but ive ran them on my z28 for years including some racing so im not against them.
