1st off, for whatever reason, the Search function on my tablet doesn't work...

Can someone please explain the different nuances between the K10/K1500, K20/K2500?

Was it a change made in a certain year? I understand that K = 4x4 and that C = 2wd, and that 10/1500 = 1/2 Ton, and 20/2500 = 3/4 Ton, but I'd like someone to break it down to a "Sesame Street" level for me.

I believe that Chevy used the 10/20/30, etc designation and GMC's used the 1500/2500/3500, etc designation.... from '67-'72.

As far as the search did you try the Google box at the top of this page? Be sure and click on the circle in front of "67-72chevytrucks.com

Easy enough..... edjumacated folks use nomenclature and the rest of us use whatchumacallit.
