Re: OEM GM Parts list
Are these drum brake spindles or disc brake spindles?

Re: OEM GM Parts list
Yes, They are for a disk brake. IF it's a 70 isn't the spindle size the same as 87?

Re: OEM GM Parts list
I appreciate the help, 63C10... Now I'm getting confused and am wondering what the heck I really have here and "IF" the parts I have for the rebuild will fit/work or not.. Soooo,, before I go any further I really need to double check what I'm doing before it turns into another money pit..

Re: OEM GM Parts list
The 1970 trucks did not have disc brakes. The first year for discs was 1971. The '71 and '72 spindles are the same. The '73-'87 are basically the same, but there was a light duty spindle(1" thick rotor) and a heavy duty spindle (1.25" thick rotor. This is in reference to the C10's

Re: OEM GM Parts list
Can you post a picture of the spindles?
Are they aftermarket spindles? It is possible that they are aftermarket spindles that use the 1970 ball joints and outer tie rods.
