gear ratios

I have 12 bolt with this number. HA0402W2. I think it is 373 gear. My question is will 4.11 fit in this carrier?

Re: gear ratios

Check with the vendor supplying the 4.11's. They'll need to know the full details of the differential to make sure they sell you the correct gears that will fit.

Re: gear ratios

There's a code on the passenger axle tube between the diff housing and the trailing arm mount. This code will have numbers and letters and will tell you the gear ratio and if it's posi or non posi from the factory... Be very careful... My axle said non posi 3.73, so I bought a 4 series posi carrier to put in.... Turns out somebody swapped in 3.07 gears in my axle... Long story short my axle is now back to being a 3.73.
