64-66 - 1/2-Ton and 1-Ton - Any Differences in Cab Size / Parts Interchangeable?
Hello,
I'm looking at a 65 1-ton truck as a parts truck for my 66 1/2-ton. Can anyone confirm if the cab and doors (among other cab related parts) are the same between the two trucks and are interchangeable? Thanks, Mike |

One ton cab and doors should be the same as half ton, most everything else should also interchange.

All the body parts are the same for C/k10, 20 or 30

except for the rear cab mounts and the c10 already has the frame brackets. just making provision for mounting nuts in the floor. just get a c10 cab mounting kit which will give you all of the hardware and insulators for front and rear mounts.

Thanks for your feedback everyone. This is the truck I am considering for parts. I will need the doors, steering wheel, steering column, grill...im sure there is other stuff I can use as well. Does this look like the normal size cab? Sounds like everything should fit, right?

Yes, the body and parts on that C30 will work on a C10 or C20. The trans cover should have another hole to the right of the shifter for the parking/e-brake lever.
