Poly body mounts, who has used them?

I bought some and they didn't come with any hardware. Do I reuse the metal parts off of the old rubber mounts? If so, where can I get some new ones because the metal parts are rotten?

Yes you do. A parts board member will hAve em i'm sure, or a junkyard truck. I reused mine when i did the new bushings.

I did too and yea mine were ruff too. But some sand paper cleaned them up ok, you will LOVE how it changes the ride! Mine were really bad so maybe it's different for me but it was the best thing I've done to the truck! If you need to know how to do it I can post a good thread to read. I tell everyone who has one an old truck like mine to make the investment! It's worth it!

Please post that thread. I might have a issue with the one on the drivers side back. I think the nut has broke loose. And as far as I can tell, I might have to cut a hole in the floor to fix that?

LMC has the parts if you need to replace them.

Re: Poly body mounts, who has used them?

Forgot to mention that I installed a set of Energy Suspension poly bushing in my 86 and I am very happy with the results.

I think that is the link. It just shows you the best way to put them in.
