hard starting 6

to anybody with a stock burb with a 6. i have a 66 burb with a 292 six and a 4spd. when the truck sits for a few days it is hard to start. i have to pump the gas adout 50 times to get it started. is a week fuel pump? i know it is a long way from the tank to the motor on these. any ideas??? thanks ps. after it is started and warmed up it fires right up

More likely that fuel is leaking out of the carburetor bowl so the carb is dry when you go to start. Look into a rebuild kit.

Yep! My 66 C-30 has the same problem.
