Floor Carpet Experience

So I am hoping those who have replaced the floor carpet in their trucks might have a voice here.

What's the best recommendation for replacing the floor carpet. LMC? Classic ? Others?

I'm not looking for totally perfect original, just reasonable quality, reasonable fit, and reasonable price.

What's the verdict?

Re: Floor Carpet Experience

I bought my carpet from Stock Interiors, www.stockinteriors.com. Lots of colors and styles available. They will send you samples if you're not sure what the color you want and the prices are reasonable.

Re: Floor Carpet Experience

I also got mine from stock interiors. Had them send me samples and i picked from those. Made it easy to get just the right color. Fit on the molded carpet was very good. I opened mine up as soon as I got it and let it relax for a couple of days. Then put it out in the sun for about an hour and let it warm up. Went down very nicely.

Got mine from Auto Custom Carpets, Inc. (accmats.com). Amazing service and impressive well-fitting carpet and floor mats.

Re: Floor Carpet Experience

Brothers had a sale with 20% off. So that's where I got mine. I was planning on going with stock interiors before that sale.

Re: Floor Carpet Experience

I got the LMC one.

Don't get it. Mine doesn't fit as well as I hoped (however it is getting better by the day), but even more than that is the type of carpet. I was really hoping for a more modern style, but instead I got the old loop carpet that will eventually start to unravel anyway.
Was going to buy from stock interiors, but decided at last minute to go LMC since I figured the carpet would match the other accessories LMC sells (kick panels, headliner, visors, etc.)

Re: Floor Carpet Experience

Great Info. Thanks guys.

Someone today mentioned selling longer carpet to deal with
the area left exposed by fuel tank removal. Any comments or experience on this matter?

Re: Floor Carpet Experience

Anyone use the carpet kits from Trim Parts? Laidbackcreations has an ongoing sale on these but the price quoted came out to be slightly higher than what Summit was selling it for. I too would like to find a quality carpet that will hold up to daily use.

Re: Floor Carpet Experience

I know the LMC kit was plenty long enough for not having a tank in the cab. Would probably still need to trim it down.

I take it from all the responses in favor of ACC and Stock Interiors that nobody is recommending the Trim Parts carpet so sounds like I'll pass on that as well.

Re: Floor Carpet Experience

Nothing beats experience.

I'm up here in Canada and its hard to get enough exposure to all the products on the market.

Thanks for good information.

Is there any right or wrong answer between loop and pile?
