Anybody else got the squat?
My Tahoe squats really bad when I get into it at all. If I am unloaded and do more than barely roll on the gas from a complete stop, it's hard to keep it from bottoming out. If I get into it from a roll, it doesn't bottom out, but it still squats and I can feel the shake from what I think is a nasty pinion angle change.
Mine is also bagged front and rear, so maybe that's the problem. The rear leaves were removed except for the top one and it's air over leaf. Not what I would have done, but I bought it that way. I can put the bags up to almost 100 psi each (ride height is ~70 psi rear unloaded) and this still happens. Do you guys think I a.) need shocks? No idea how long the currents have been on there and it is pretty wallowy b.) need caltracs? Thinking maybe I'm getting some hellacious spring wrap c.) have a different problem. Please elaborate |
