Curious what the difference is in the 3/4 ton front suspension and the 1/2 ton
Just the springs? and of couse the 8lug hubs

Re: 66 3/4 ton front suspension

Curious if I roll the complete front end out from under a 3/4 ton longbed will it bolt to
the 1/2 shortbed chassis? I know that is a very random question but just hate to waste
a brand new set of 8 lug wheels with tires and disc brakes
Anybody ever built or seen a short bed fleetside with 3/4 ton suspension??

Re: 66 3/4 ton front suspension

Most go the other way, but there's no reason you can't put 3/4 ton stuff under a 1/2 ton; a search will bring up quite a few hits from guys putting C10 stuff under a C20.

Re: 66 3/4 ton front suspension

If you want a softer ride put the 1/2 ton springs in the front or get the lightest 3/4s you can find and if your using the leafs in the rear break them down and remove a few leafs like every other one or every third one
