64 C10 Seat Options. 2nd Row Tahoe?

Been looking around on here this morning and have seen tons of different seats used in our trucks. For me its not the question of if it'll fit but rather which one can I throw in the truck and bolt to the floor? I expect to drill new holes but that's about as much time as I want to spend on it.

Saw where one guy used the second row seats from a 98 Tahoe and thought I would give that a shot. Most are still in good condition and available unlike the 90-95 Silverado bench seats.

The third row seats in Yukons/Tahoes/Suburbans are also a good choice. Thinner in the back and bottom to make space less of an issue, but you'd have to make tracks to be able to slide them. I have first row captains chairs out of a 2003 Suburban in my truck, space is a little limited, but moving the gas tank should fix that.
If you were to do first row, many of them were power so there is a little bit of wiring to do, but it's just hot and ground.

I must have missed where people are using the third row seats, I saw several discussions on surburban and panel trucks but nothing with the C10's. Ill look into it. Seems like they are a good bit smaller than the second row seats but that may not be a bad thing because I still have the tank in the cab...

I have an OE seat but its gone beyond repair or atleast more time than I care to put into it. All the foam is gone on the driver side, springs are broken and poke me and tear my britches

I see. There was a nice looking seat on CL in Knoxville or Maryville awhile back for a good price. Let me see if I can find the link.

From this to that for $300 so why chase another seat? My seat had an old square seat pad for the ballpark jammed in there and bailing wire for springs.
For reference, don't go white. Las Vegas heat or not its a pain to keep clean.

If you do chose to reupholster, you can get heated seat kits for like $80-$100 off of eBay. That's what I have in both my truck and my car and they work awesome! Also very very easy to do.

Re: 64 C10 Seat Options. 2nd Row Tahoe?

Can the non-deluxe seats be made a little more comfortable. My wires around the edges are in good shape and the springs are all unbroken now after I fixed them, but they still kind of can be felt in my behind through the foam. Maybe I just need new foam?

I know the guy added high density foam top and bottom. Sure there is some slack to add more foam.

Any pictures of the third row being used? Or maybe a link to a page? If it is folded up because of being removed from a Tahoe, how do you unfold it out of the vehicle?
