Fire extinguisher mount
I don't know if they all had them, but my truck has a spring doohickey in the back passenger corner of the cab next to the fuel tank.
Maybe there was a special type of fire extinguisher made to work with that. Or is it the jack mount and the original owner repurposed it? It has a 1971 inspection tag on it. If this is indeed for a fire extinguisher has anyone come up with a clever way to use it for mounting one? I'd actually like to carry one.

That is to hold the jack tools and tool bag.... The jack was mounted on the floor. LockDoc

Thanks! No wonder I couldn't figure it out. I posted a WTB ad but I don't even know what the W part is (not sure what I want). What are the pieces - a jack, a lug wrench, and what else?
Do the bags survive or are they all ruined by now? In an unrelated story, when I was about 5 (1973 or so) my Dad heard someone at his truck in the middle of the night. Turns out they were stealing the wheels off the back. My mom turned the light on out of habit and they scattered, but they left behind a really nice heavy duty jack (like the big industrial bumper jacks). So not only did we keep the wheels, he picked up a free jack. Which is why I've never seen the little bottle one.

The tool set is shown in the link below. The straight tire iron shown is unique to 3/4 and 1 tons. The foam bags rarely survived.
