California Greg

New guy here from the land of emission controls, ie California. Looking for a 72 short bed. Just introducing myself before I drop all my stupid questions, LOL. Don't wanna do any rust repair cause I've been there with my 68 Mustang already, just wanna tinker with the motor / mechanical ****, etc.

Re: California Greg

Today was a good day I bought a beautiful one family ower (grandfather gave it to grandson) lime green 1974 GMC Custom 15 Hundred for $1,500 in California. It is a manual 4 speed on the floor. 90% stock all original except for tailgate (original was stolen), muffler/tailpipe (rusted and cut off) and wheels. Though front right is the original spare with original 40 year old Firestone Delux Champion G 78-15 tire.

The 350 four barrel carb engine is brutally honest, cobwebs and all.

Best part I was able to drive it home 45 miles!!!

I share this info because I know I wonder how much one can score this type of truck for so hopefully it helps someone.

on to some pics

Re: California Greg

I swear if I had a dollar for every car I looked at with only three matching rims I would have like $7.00 bucks by now, LOL
